Process Serving
Axis Process Servers provides service of legal documents throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Our services include:
- Court Documents: Service of statements of claim, notices of application, motions, appeals, and other court filings
- Family Law Documents: Service of applications, answers, financial statements, and notices under the Family Law Rules
- Small Claims Court: Service of plaintiff's claims, defendant's claims, notices of garnishment, and related documents
- Commercial Documents: Service of notices, demands, and business-related legal communications
- Tribunal Documents: Service of applications and notices for various Ontario tribunals
- Enforcement Documents: Service of writs of seizure and sale, notices of garnishment, and enforcement-related materials
Service Methods
- Personal service in accordance with the Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure
- Alternative service methods were permitted by court order
- Substituted service when authorized
- Service on corporations and partnerships
- Service at the place of residence or business
Affidavit of Service and Documentation
Upon completion of service, we provide comprehensive documentation for court and legal record purposes:
- Affidavit of Service: Affidavits prepared in accordance with Ontario court requirements, including detailed information about the service location, date, time, and manner of service
- Certificate of Service: Certificates prepared where affidavits are not required
- Service Details: Complete documentation of service attempts, including dates, times, and locations
- Photographic Evidence or Signature (upon request): When appropriate and permitted, photographic documentation of the service location
All affidavits are commissioned by authorized commissioners for taking affidavits in Ontario.
Court Filing Services
Upon request, Axis Process Servers can assist with court filing services:
- Filing of documents with relevant courts
- Obtaining filing stamps and court file numbers
Rush and Time-Sensitive Service
We understand that legal matters often have strict timelines. Axis Process Servers accommodates urgent service requests:
- Rush service for time-sensitive documents (depending on time and location)
- Weekend and evening service
- Service coordinated with litigation deadlines
- Regular updates on service progress
